Furniture Assembler/ Bench Joiner

Term: Full time, 39.25 hours per week Overtime: Available and paid at time + half Salary: Hourly, dependant on experience, We currently have multiple vacancies and are considering all applicants (juinor to senior) with a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role. Working hours: 8am – 5pm (Monday – Thursday) 8am – 4pm (Friday) About the Company GB Projects Ltd is a specialist manufacturer of bespoke commercial furniture, producing high-quality, office furniture, boardroom tables, custom interior pieces and also a number of specialist products within the automotive and aerospace industries. The Role We are looking for candidates with Furniture Assembly / Bench Joinery experience to join our workshop team. Key Responsibilities * Assembly of bespoke furniture including boardroom tables and cabinetry * Working with laminates, veneers, curved and straight edge-banded panels * Gluing, clamping and preparing solid timber components * Preparing components and panels for spray coating * Carrying out quality checks before dispatch * Maintaining high workshop standards and safe working practices Experience Required * Previous experience as a bench joiner, cabinet maker or furniture assembler * Ability to read and follow technical drawings * Good attention to detail and quality standards * Reliable and able to work as part of a team Benefits * Stable, long-term role for the right candidates * Modern workshop environment * Holiday’s increase with time served * Competitive pay depending on experience * Secure onsite parking * Canteen with free hot drinks
