Gas Engineer

Fraser Edwards are currently recruiting for a Gas Engineer on behalf of a well-established and growing Social Housing Contractor. Due to continued business growth, the company is expanding its Gas Team, creating an excellent opportunity to join a successful and forward-thinking organisation. Key Responsibilities: * Servicing, repairing, and maintaining domestic gas appliances including boilers, cookers, and gas fires * Carrying out annual gas safety checks within occupied social housing properties * Diagnosing faults and carrying out breakdown repairs on domestic gas systems * Ensuring all work is completed in line with current Gas Safe regulations and compliance standards * Accurately completing job sheets, gas safety certificates, and compliance documentation * Providing a professional and customer-focused service when working in tenants’ homes * Managing daily workloads and appointments efficiently while working independently Requirements: * ACS Gas qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, and CKR1 (or equivalent) * Proven experience working on domestic boilers, cookers, and gas fires * Previous experience within social housing or domestic gas environments is preferred * Full UK driving licence * Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and industry compliance What’s on Offer: * Competitive bonus scheme * Company van and fuel card * Overtime and on-call opportunities * Pension scheme and holiday entitlement * Ongoing training and career development opportunities
