Coyles are seeking reliable and professional Traffic Management Operatives with a valid LANTRA Gate Air Lock qualification for a major road closure project based in Chelmsford, Essex.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure up to 6 months of consistent work on a high-profile traffic management contract,
📍 Location
Chelmsford, Essex
We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates based up to around 10 miles from Chelmsford.
✅ The Role
Working as part of an established Traffic Management team, your duties will include:
* Manning road closure access points
* Operating Gate / Air Lock systems
* Controlling authorised vehicle access and egress
* Communicating with site management and traffic management teams
* Maintaining site security and public safety
* Monitoring access permissions in line with project requirements
* Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Chapter 8 guidelines
* Completing basic site records and reports where required
* Providing professional customer service to residents, businesses and authorised contractors
🎓 Essential Requirements
* Valid LANTRA Gate Air Lock Qualification
* Previous Traffic Management experience preferred
* Full UK Driving Licence (desirable)
* Strong communication skills
* Professional and courteous approach
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable and punctual
