Gateman required in Burwell, Cambridgeshire - Monday 23rd March Start - up £18.50 per Hour Overview We are looking for a reliable and professional Site Gateman to manage access control and deliveries at a busy multi-developer construction site in Burwell. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining site safety, security, and efficient traffic flow. Key Responsibilities * Control and monitor the main site entrance gate * Check and authorise entry for personnel, visitors, and delivery vehicles * Log all site arrivals, departures, and deliveries * Direct visitors and deliveries to the correct contractor or plot * Assist with traffic management at the site entrance * Ensure site rules and safety procedures are followed * Report any incidents, unsafe behaviour, or suspicious activity * Maintain delivery and visitor logbooks Requirements * Good communication and organisational skills * Ability to work independently and follow site procedures * Reliable and punctual with a strong focus on safety * Previous construction site or gateman experience preferred What’s Provided * Gatehouse or shelter * Logbook or digital delivery register * Site communication equipment (radio/mobile) Working hours: Monday to Friday 07:00am to 18:00pm Reporting To: Site Manager / Lead Contractor Representative Apply for a call to discuss further
