Gear Cutter Location: Aldershot, GU12 Salary: £17-£19 per hour (depending on experience) Hours: Monday to Thursday 06:30-15:15, Friday 06:00-13:00 The Role We are looking for a skilled and precise Gear Cutter to join a busy precision manufacturing environment in Aldershot. You will be responsible for producing high-quality gears using CNC and gear-cutting machinery. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on machining and takes pride in accuracy and attention to detail. Purpose of the Role As a Gear Cutter, you will set up and operate machines to manufacture precision gears. You will work from engineering drawings, ensuring every component meets strict tolerances and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate gear cutting machinery, including Mazak CNC machines Manufacture gears to precise specifications from engineering drawings Conduct inspections using micrometers, verniers, and other measuring tools Troubleshoot machine or process issues to maintain production flow Maintain clean and safe working areas in accordance with health and safety standards Support colleagues to ensure smooth production processes Profile 3-5 years of experience in gear cutting or CNC machining Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Skilled in using precision measuring instruments Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented What's on Offer Permanent, full-time position on 1st shift Competitive hourly rate of £17-£19 depending on experience 33 days annual leave including bank holidays Pension scheme and discretionary bonus Enhanced maternity/paternity pay and cycle-to-work scheme Immediate start for the right candidate Long-term opportunities and career development potential How to Apply If this role sounds like the right fit, please contact Aastha Khurana on (phone number removed) or send your CV to .
