As the General Manager you will,
Be a visible leader within the operation driving performance and actively supporting the team to develop robust SOPs, to enable consistent delivery of service levels
Manage and mentor a team highlighting training needs and creating a succession plan
Continue to develop a positive culture which supports high performance in all areas (HSE, quality, pick rate)
Work with other sites and Transport to balance capacity, resource, and optimise volumes through the site
Manage budgets and resource allocation to achieve financial objectives.Profile
A successful General Manager should have:
A proven track record in managing a busy, high volume warehouse operation
Strong leadership and decision-making skills to guide teams effectively, building engagement and performance
A visible leader in the warehouse
Analytical skills to assess performance metrics and drive improvements.
Proficiency in budget management and resource planning.Job Offer
Competitive salary ranging from £75,000 to £80,000 + package
