Geography Teacher
PK Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Sheffield to recruit a passionate and committed Geography Teacher for a long-term supply position (4 days per week). This is an excellent opportunity for a Geography specialist seeking a stable, long-term role within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment. The Role: Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4 Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum Assess, track and report on student progress Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment Contribute to departmental planning and wider school life where appropriate Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and differentiated Geography lessons Inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential Maintain accurate records of student progress and attainment Follow school policies on safeguarding, behaviour and assessment Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Specialism in Geography or a related subject Recent experience teaching in a UK secondary school Strong classroom management skills A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) What PK Education Offers: Competitive PAYE rates of pay (£180 – £230 per day) A dedicated consultant supporting you throughout your placement Long-term stability with the flexibility of supply work Opportunities for continued professional development If you are a Geography Teacher looking for a long-term opportunity in Sheffield starting after half term, we would love to hear from you.
