Apply NowWe are looking for a reliable and hard-working Goods In Operative to join my clients busy warehouse team on a 12-week temp-to-perm basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who is looking for a long-term position with opportunities for development.
Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:00
12-week Temporary to Permanent
Key Responsibilities
* Receiving and checking incoming deliveries against delivery notes
* Unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
* Using handheld scanners to accurately book stock into the warehouse
* Inspecting goods for damage and reporting any discrepancies
* Moving stock to designated storage locations
* Maintaining accurate stock records
* Keeping the goods in area clean, organised and safe
* Following all health and safety procedures
* Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
What They're Looking For
* Previous experience in a Goods In or Warehouse Operative role is preferred
* Experience using handheld barcode scanners
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
* Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Good level of physical fitness
Training & Development
The successful candidate should be open to training on both Counterbalance and Reach Truck forklifts if offered a permanent position. Previous forklift licences are not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate
