Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting enthusiastic, committed individuals to work as Cover Supervisors and Support Staff within schools across Carmarthenshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain real classroom experience, develop your confidence, and strengthen your CV before entering teacher training.
What the Role Involves
Depending on your placement, you may:
Supervise whole classes in the absence of a teacher
Support pupils on a 1:1 or small‑group basis
Assist with behaviour management and general classroom tasks
Work with learners of different ages and abilities
Adapt to various school settings as part of flexible supply work

Requirements
Must be willing to travel across Carmarthenshire (driving essential due to location of schools)
Positive, proactive attitude
Previous experience with children is beneficial but not essential
Welsh speakers highly desirable
Pay & Availability
£92–£110 per day, depending on role and responsibilities
This is supply work, meaning hours can vary — work is not guaranteed, but you’ll have access to regular opportunities based on school demand and your availability.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
