Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Full Time Location: Various schools across Manchester Employer: Teaching Personnel Start: Immediate Are you a recent graduate looking to begin a rewarding career in education? Teaching Personnel is seeking Graduate SEN Teaching Assistants to work across specialist SEN schools in the Manchester area, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech & language difficulties, learning delays and social/communication challenges. This role is ideal for graduates aspiring to careers in teaching, psychology, mental health or youth work. Role Responsibilities Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups Assist with learning activities, interventions and classroom support Help pupils with communication, confidence and emotional regulation Build positive relationships and encourage pupil engagement Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff Promote a safe, inclusive learning environment Requirements Degree in Psychology, Social Sciences and Education Enthusiastic, patient and proactive Passion for working with children and young people Strong communication and teamwork skills Full-time availability & willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS Why This Role is Great for Graduates Hands-on experience highly valued by teaching and psychology pathways Develop skills in behaviour management, SEN strategies and child development Build confidence working in educational and pastoral settings Why Work With Teaching Personnel?
