Think Recruitment are working with a leading Housing Association is Looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to Cover the Market Harborough and surrounding region Mobile - Market Harborough & Surrounding Areas £28,512 per annum Full-Time | Permanent Join a Leading Housing Association's Grounds Maintenance Team! Are you an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative looking for a secure, full-time role where you can make a real difference? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and reputable housing association, working within a friendly and professional team maintaining high-quality outdoor spaces across Market Harborough and surrounding areas. The Role As part of the Grounds Maintenance team, you'll play a key role in keeping communal and landscaped areas looking their best. Your day-to-day duties will include: · Grass cutting (tractor and pedestrian) · Strimming and brush cutting · Hedge trimming and shrub pruning · Planting, weeding, and weed control · General estate upkeep including litter picking This is a mobile role, so no two days will be the same. What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who is: · A hardworking team player with a positive, can-do attitude · Passionate about outdoor work and maintaining high standards · Friendly and approachable with good communication skills · Experienced in grounds maintenance and use of relevant machinery · Health & Safety conscious Essential: · Full UK driving licence · Ability to commute to Market Harborough Desirable: · Horticultural/gardening experience or qualifications · PA1 & PA6 spraying certificates What's On Offer · £28,512 annual salary · Permanent, year-round employment · 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays · Option to buy up to 5 additional days leave · Generous pension scheme (up to 12% employer contribution) · Free healthcare and dental plan · All-weather uniform provided Working Pattern · Summer (March-November): 42.5 hours, Monday-Friday · Winter (December-February): 32.5 hours, Monday-Thursday This is more than just a job-it's a chance to build a long-term career with a growing organisation that truly values its people.
