Grounds Maintenance Team Leader – Dagenham Salary: £32,000 – £33,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join their team based in Dagenham. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step up or already leading a team within grounds maintenance. Key Responsibilities: * Leading and supervising a small team of grounds maintenance operatives * Planning and organising daily workloads across multiple sites * Carrying out hands-on grounds maintenance duties including mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, and pruning * Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines * Operating and maintaining machinery and equipment * Conducting site checks and ensuring health & safety standards are followed at all times * Providing guidance, training, and support to team members * Liaising with management and reporting on job progress Requirements: * Previous experience in grounds maintenance * Experience leading or supervising a team * Full UK driving licence (essential) * Strong organisational and communication skills * Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions * A proactive and hands-on approach Desirable (not essential): * PA1 and PA6 spraying licences * Relevant horticultural qualifications This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary, stability, and the opportunity to take on a leadership role within a growing team
