Groundworker

Location: Northampton
Duration: 6 weeks
Pay Rate: £22 per hour

About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Groundworker to join a site team in Northampton for an initial 6-week contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of general groundworks duties, working efficiently and safely as part of a construction team.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out general groundworks and construction duties

* Digging, levelling and preparing ground

* Concrete work and foundations

* Drainage and pipe installation

* Kerbing, edging and paving

* Slabbing and associated external works

* Reading and working from site plans and drawings where required

* Operating hand tools and relevant equipment

* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area

* Following all site health and safety procedures

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Groundworker

* Relevant construction site experience

* CSCS card required

* Good understanding of health and safety procedures

* Ability to work effectively as part of a team

* Reliable, punctual and hardworking

* Relevant tickets or qualifications for plant operation would be advantageous
