Groundworks Foreman

Groundworks Foreman – Main Contractor Thurrock £65,000 Basic + Package We are working with a well-established Main Contractor delivering a £30m new build industrial scheme in Thurrock. They are looking to appoint an experienced Groundworks Foreman to oversee the groundworks and external packages on site. This is a substantial industrial project and will require someone confident managing labour, plant and subcontractors while maintaining programme and quality standards. The Role * Supervising all groundworks operations including drainage, foundations and external works * Coordinating labour, plant and materials on site * Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification * Managing subcontractors and direct labour * Carrying out toolbox talks and daily briefings * Working closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager * Monitoring quality and ensuring compliance with drawings and RAMS Requirements * Proven experience as a Groundworks Foreman on large new build projects * Main Contractor experience preferred * Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations and RC works * SMSTS or SSSTS * CSCS * First Aid * Good understanding of H&S and site procedures This is a long-term role on a major scheme with a strong pipeline of future work in the region.
