Group Finance Manager

Group Finance Manager | £50k–£70k | East Cheshire | On-site

Axon Moore is partnering with a market-leading manufacturer in East Cheshire to recruit a Group Finance Manager for a high-performing, globally operating business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong finance professional to lead a small team, oversee group accounting, VAT, tax, and audit, drive process improvements, and partner with stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Deliver variance analysis and commercial performance insights
Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including month-end, VAT, tax, AP/AR, and controls
Support cash flow forecasting and treasury activities
Coordinate external audit and ensure financial compliance
Identify financial risks and drive process improvements
Lead, coach, and develop a small finance team
Partner with stakeholders to support strategic business objectives

The Candidate:

ACCA / CIMA qualified
Proven experience in a Finance Manager or Group Management Accountant role
Strong technical accounting, audit, and tax knowledge
Experience leading and developing finance teams
ERP systems experience
