Health & Safety Coordinator Wolverhampton Industrial Engineering £35,000 - £40,000 The Role This is a hands-on, site-based role where you will act as a visible Health & Safety presence across the business. Working closely with the HSE Manager, you will support the day-to-day coordination of health and safety activities, ensuring compliance with legislation and promoting a positive safety culture. This role would suit someone with Health & Safety experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment. What will you be doing? * Acting as the on-site Health & Safety representative across two sites * Conducting safety inspections, audits, and workplace assessments * Supporting the creation and maintenance of risk assessments * Monitoring safety standards and safe systems of work * Investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses * Carrying out root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions * Maintaining accident records and safety statistics * Supporting H&S training, including inductions and refresher training * Ensuring compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation * Promoting a strong and positive safety culture What will you bring to the party? We are looking for a proactive and organised Health & Safety professional who enjoys being present on site and working closely with operational teams. You will ideally have: * A recognised Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH, IOSH, or similar) * Experience carrying out risk assessments * Previous experience within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments (highly desirable) * Excellent communication skills * Strong attention to detail * A proactive and hands-on approach * Full UK driving licence
