Handy Person

InstaStaff are currently recruiting for a Handy Person to join a distribution company in Bordesley Green, Birmingham. The hours for the Handy Person will be Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day. the site is open from 6am - 10pm, you will need to be available to open the site and be on call evenings and weekends if required.  You will be joining the maintenance team and be responsible for the maintenance of the site both inside and outside, if you have experience of mechanical or electrical engineering this would be an advantage as there will be some fixing of machines required, it’s not essential as training can be given. The duties of the Handy Person are: Painting and decorating Moving furniture Hanging doors Changing light bulbs Basic electrics Clearing paths Mowing and strimming Moving snow if ever required Gritting paths Maintenance of the machines and production tracks The ideal Handy person will have: Experience within a similar role Excellent understanding of English The salary for the Handy Person will be circa £32,000 per year.
