Handyman

Good Afternoon, I am pleased to present an opportunity for a Handyman based in the Southampton or Winchester area. This position can be offered on a temporary basis for 6 months with the option to go permanent. The hourly rate will be £22 per hour dependant on experience through an Umbrella/CIS Company Responsibilities: * Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks, with a strong focus on carpentry work such as door/frame repairs, fittings, and minor installations * Inspect, maintain, and repair fire doors to ensure compliance with safety regulations, including checking seals, hinges, closers, and signage * Respond promptly to maintenance requests, diagnosing faults and completing work efficiently and safely * Ensure all work meets current building, fire safety, and health & safety standards * Keep accurate records of inspections, repairs, and materials used, reporting any major issues or non-compliance promptly * Requirements * Ideally dealt with fire doors * Full UK driver’s licence * Experience in carpentry & maintenance Should this opportunity align with your experience, we encourage you to act quick.
