Location: Wigan Pay Rate: £20.00 per hour Start: 23/02/2026 Sector: Construction  Overview We are looking for an experienced and reliable skilled Handyman to support our long standing on site in Wigan. The ideal candidate will have a background in joinery and be confident carrying out a wide range of basic trade tasks to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Perform general handyman duties including minor repairs, adjustments, and basic maintenance. Carry out tasks such as: Basic joinery Fixing doors, locks, hinges Minor painting/decorating Basic plumbing tasks (as needed) General upkeep and site support Maintain a safe and tidy working environment. Follow all site safety procedures and report issues or hazards. Work independently and manage daily tasks effectively. Essential Requirements Proven experience as a Handyman or general maintenance operative. CSCS Card - valid and in date. Face Fit certification. Strong joinery skills or a joinery background. Good all‑round basic trade knowledge. Ability to work safely and efficiently with minimal supervision. Good communication and problem‑solving skills. Desirable Experience working on construction or refurbishment projects. Own basic tools.
