The Role

Key responsibilities include:

Leading the English curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and 5, if applicable)

Raising standards of teaching, learning, and assessment

Supporting and developing staff within the department

Monitoring student progress and implementing effective interventions

Promoting a love of reading and literature across the school
