My client is looking for a proactive Senior Payroll candidate that has a passion for both people management and continuous improvement. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Payroll or Senior Payroll Manager to have involvement on a strategic level with a business that has strong consistent year on year growth. Description Oversee and lead an established payroll function. Manage any system or process improvement. Strategic involvement and effective decision making that promotes continuous improvement. Develop and implement efficient payroll processes and procedures. Implement future benefits schemes Collaborate with the accounting and finance department on payroll-related activities. Handle payroll reporting, including tax filings and statutory requirements. Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee queries professionally. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory changes impacting payroll. Provide leadership and development opportunities for the payroll team.Profile A successful Head of Payroll should have: Proven experience in Head of Payroll, Senior Payroll or Payroll Manager position Strong knowledge of UK and Ireland Payroll Regulations Passion for continuous improvement and people management Proficiency in payroll software and relevant systems. Ability to manage and lead a team effectively. Enjoys working in a fast paced working environment Strong communication skills Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.Job Offer Competitive salary ranging from £65,000 to £75,000 per annum.
