Head of Repairs
This is an exciting opportunity for a proven leader to make an immediate impact, stabilise and enhance service delivery, and shape the future direction of the repairs function.
Duties will include-
* Provide strategic leadership and direction for the end-to-end repairs service, including DLO operations and surveying teams
* Ensure all statutory and regulatory obligations are fully met, maintaining compliance at all times
* Oversee delivery of responsive repairs and voids services, ensuring efficiency, quality, and value for money
* Lead on budget management, ensuring services are delivered within agreed financial parameters
* Drive performance improvement, implementing robust systems, processes, and KPIs
* Champion a culture of outstanding customer care, ensuring high levels of resident satisfaction
* Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver a seamless service
* Provide visible, senior leadership to teams, fostering accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
* A highly experienced senior leader within housing repairs, asset management, or property services
* Proven track record of managing DLO operations and surveying functions
* Strong understanding of statutory compliance requirements within social housing or a similar sector
* Demonstrable experience of delivering services within budget while improving performance
* Passionate about customer service, with a commitment to delivering excellent resident outcomes
* Skilled in leading change, driving transformation, and motivating multidisciplinary teams
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities
