Health & Safety Lead

Good Morning, I am currently representing Westminster Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3- 6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience We are looking for a Health & Safety Lead this role will be: Hybrid 2 days office based, SW1E6QP The right candidate will: * Establishing a clear baseline of Health & Safety maturity across the Council * Progressing priority work aligned to an ISO 45001-style management system * Strengthening visibility, consistency and engagement with services and Directorates * Designing practical, deliverable frameworks for permanent postholders * Creating a structured handover and roadmap for continued implementation We require the following: * Senior Health & Safety leadership experience in large, complex organisations * Demonstrable experience designing, reviewing or implementing ISO 45001-aligned systems * Strong track record of improving Health & Safety management systems * Experience driving Health & Safety engagement and cultural improvement To discuss this opportunity further please send over an up-to-date CV and give me a call on (phone number removed) If you know someone who would be a good fit for the role, please send over their contact details and get in touch, as we do offer a generous referral fee.
