Want a safety role where you’re out on site, working with delivery teams and influencing how major infrastructure projects are delivered?
An established civil engineering contractor is looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to support a major water framework across the South West, covering reservoirs, pumping stations, pipelines and associated civil engineering works.
The Role
As Health and Safety Advisor, you’ll work closely with operational teams across multiple projects, providing practical advice and helping drive strong safety standards.
You’ll be responsible for:
Site inspections, audits and compliance monitoring.
Providing practical H&S advice to project teams.
Supporting accident, incident and near-miss investigations.
Promoting positive safety behaviours and hazard reporting.
Identifying improvements to working practices and processes.
Supporting tenders, planning and safety initiatives. About You
You’ll ideally come from water, utilities, civil engineering or infrastructure and have:
NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate, or equivalent.
Tech IOSH membership or progression towards Graduate IOSH.
Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation.
Confidence working directly with site teams.
