We are currently seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join a major data centre project in the Netherlands.
This opportunity offers the chance to work on a high-profile hyperscale project for one of the world's leading tech companies. Initially offered as a temporary contract, this role also has the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.
Role Details
Position: Health & Safety Advisor
Location: Netherlands
Project: Data Centre
Start: ASAP
Contract Type: Freelance (with potential temp-to-perm opportunity)
Rate: Negotiable
Accommodation: Can be provided
Responsibilities
Oversee and promote health & safety compliance across all site activities
Ensure all works are carried out in line with project safety procedures and local regulations
Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety observations
Lead incident investigations and support corrective action implementation
Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings to site teams
Work closely with project management, subcontractors, and client representatives to maintain a strong safety culture
Drive continuous improvement in H&S performance across the project
Requirements
Proven experience working as a Health & Safety Advisor or Senior H&S Advisor on large-scale construction projects
Previous data centre experience is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of construction health & safety legislation and best practices
Experience working on fast-paced, high-value projects
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Must hold a valid EU Passport
Relevant H&S qualifications/certifications required
