Health and Safety Consultant

Our client is currently looking to recruit a Health and Safety Consultant on an initial 6 month interim contract.    Health and Safety Consultant Central London - Hybrid £620 per day    We’re looking for an experienced Interim Health & Safety Lead to support a diverse portfolio of construction and infrastructure projects across a large, complex site in Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work client-side across a mix of projects—from heritage refurbishments and live campus upgrades to major new builds—helping to create a safe environment for staff, students, contractors and visitors. What you’ll be doing Leading health & safety across a varied capital projects programme Ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 and relevant legislation Embedding Safety in Design from early project stages Supporting project teams through governance and delivery stages Carrying out site inspections, audits, and performance reporting Leading incident investigations and driving continuous improvement Delivering inductions, briefings and targeted safety initiatives Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across estates and safety What we’re looking for CMIOSH qualified with up-to-date CPD NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) Strong client-side construction H&S experience In-depth knowledge of CDM Regulations and the Building Safety Act Confident stakeholder engagement and communication skills Ability to operate in a busy, live environment with multiple projects This is a fantastic opportunity for a CMIOSH qualified Health and Safety Lead
