Health & Safety Manager
Work collaboratively with senior leaders and operational managers to drive continuous improvement in Health & Safety performance across all areas of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits across all operational locations.
* Facilitate Health & Safety meetings and forums at site level on a recurring basis.
* Support customer and project meetings where required, contributing to Health & Safety discussions within a business development context.
* Drive the adoption of new technologies and systems to enhance Health & Safety management and reporting.
* Represent the organisation at external Health & Safety meetings, workshops, and client forums as required.
* Lead the investigation of incidents and accidents, ensuring timely response, reporting and the development of corrective actions.
* Provide detailed feedback, insights and recommendations to senior leadership following investigations or significant events.
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 10 years’ experience in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) roles
* Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) with Diploma level qualification
* Minimum 10 years’ experience within the construction or built environment sector
