Apply NowWe’re hiring for a Health & Safety Officer to join a growing specialist contractor based in Bredbury, Stockport.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of health & safety across live sites and office operations, ideal for someone who’s confident working independently and wants to make a real impact in a business where H&S is taken seriously.
What’s on offer?
* Mon - Fri | 9am – 5pm
* £45,000 p/a

What will you be doing as a Health & Safety Officer?
* Managing health & safety across live construction and installation sites
* Preparing and reviewing risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
* Carrying out site inspections, audits and compliance checks
* Investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses
* Ensuring compliance with UK H&S legislation and CDM regulations
* Delivering toolbox talks, inductions and safety training
* Maintaining accurate H&S documentation and records
* Liaising with project managers, clients and contractors
What will you need?
* NEBOSH and/or IOSH qualification
* At least 3 years’ experience in construction or building services
* Strong knowledge of site-based H&S and compliance
* Full UK driving licence
