About the Role: We are offering a staffing-only care package supporting a 21-year-old male client with quadriplegic dyskinetic cerebral palsy (very limited control of his arms and legs) Most care will be shared between family members and agency staff , with a particular need for weekend coverage , so you’ll join a supportive, well-equipped team. About the client: 21-year-old male with quadriplegic dyskinetic cerebral palsy No active mobility; requires hoisting for all transfers using a track hoist Specialist equipment to support posture for sitting, toileting, and bathing Works on standing transfers in therapy sessions (not required in daily care) Needs support with oral meals due to muscle control difficulties. Responsibilities: Supporting with all transfers via hoist Assisting with daily care routines in a calm, patient, and positive way Working alongside family and agency staff to provide a consistent, high-quality care environment Ensuring client comfort, dignity, and safety always Requirements: Experience with moving and handling , including hoisting Calm, patient, and team-oriented approach Flexible and reliable, happy to cover shifts that may include weekends Hours & Pay: 12-hour or 24-hour shifts at £22 per hour (LTD/ Umbrella) £100/night (sleep-in) Flexibility is key – family and agency staff cover many shifts, offering variety and support This is more than just a job – it’s an opportunity to be part of a positive, caring team and provide essential support in a well-organized, loving environment!
