Apply NowWe are recruiting for HGV 1 Drivers for a fixed shift across Wednesday to Saturday (Guaranteed Shifts). This position offers Temp to Perm opportunities.

About the HGV 1 Driver Role:
* Working days are Wednesday - Saturday (potential for additional shifts)
* Start times between 3am-5am
* Guaranteed work / Temp to Perm opportunities
* Pay Rates are £19.23ph (Weekdays), £24.04ph (Saturday), £28.85ph (Sunday / BH)
Duties for the HGV 1 Driver Role:
* Delivering chilled Ambient and frozen foods across the South West
* Store deliveries 2/3 drops per day
* Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
* Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards
* Secure cargo properly using appropriate methods and equipment
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
* Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations during operations
Skills / Experience required for HGV 1 Driver Role:
* Minimum 1-year proven experience driving HGV 1 vehicles
* Full valid CE Licence, Digi Card & Drivers CPC Card
* Maximum 6 points for minor offences (No DR's, DD's etc)
* Excellent organisational skills to manage schedules efficiently
* Ability to operate vehicles safely under various weather conditions
* Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
