HGV Class 2 Dust Cart Driver £36,500 - £43600 Permanent Monday to Friday – Early Starts The Role for a HGV Class 2 Dust Cart Driver You’ll be operating a Dust Cart vehicle across residential routes in your area. This is a Driver/Loader role, meaning you will be driving the vehicle and assisting the crew with loading when required. What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day as a HGV Class 2 Dust Cart Driver * Driving a Class 2 Dust Cart safely and confidently through residential areas * Helping loaders with collections during busy rounds or when short-staffed * Refuelling and completing end-of-day paperwork * Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe vehicle throughout the day General Expectations of a HGV Class 2 Dust Cart Driver * Maintain a high standard of driving, especially in tight and high-density residential areas * Work well as part of a three-person crew Working Hours of a HGV Class 2 Dust Cart Driver * Monday to Friday (optional weekends) * 5am – 2pm * 39 contracted hours per week * plus overtime at 1.5 x * Total expected annual earnings: £43,500+ Salary & Benefits for a HGV Class 2 Dust Cart Driver * £36,500 basic annual salary * Overtime at £27/hour * 22 days of annual leave * Comprehensive pension scheme * Free physiotherapy service, physical and mental health support * Ongoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potential Requirements as a HGV Class 2 Dust Cart Driver Essential: * HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence * CPC & Digital Tacho Card * Maximum of 3 points (no DR/IN/DD) * Able to carry out some manual loading when needed Desirable (not essential): * Rear Steer experience * Tipper experience * Recycling/Loader experience Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £36,500.00-£43,250.00 per year Benefits for a HGV Class 2 Dust Cart Driver * Company pension * Gym membership * On-site parking * Private medical insurance * Sick pay Work Location: In person
