HGV Class 1 Driver

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ad hoc night trunking work. This role involves a straightforward trunk run from Crawley to Burton-on-Trent and back, with minimal handballing required.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out trunking deliveries from Crawley to Burton-on-Trent and return

* Ensure timely and safe transportation of goods

* Conduct vehicle checks in line with company and legal requirements

* Maintain accurate records using a digital tachograph

* Adhere to all driving laws and health & safety regulations

Shift Details

* Night shifts available

* Start time: 18:30

* Minimum guaranteed pay: 10 hours per shift

Requirements

* Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence

* Minimum 6 months’ Class 1 driving experience

* Valid CPC qualification

* Valid Digital Tachograph card

* No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)

* Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
