HGV Class 1 Driver | South Wales (Cwmbran) | Full Time (Monday to Friday, weekend availability | Up to £17.50 per hour+ Overtime + Nights Out + Bonus | OTE £54,600 - £61,900+ Fitzgerald Plant Services, a leading provider of plant machinery repair and maintenance across the UK, is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our growing team. Are you the right person for the job? Essential: Proven experience as a Class 1 Driver (minimum 1 year) Lowloader experience Competent in operating plant machinery to safely load/unload Strong knowledge of driver hours, tachograph regulations, and legal compliance Ability to work regular nights out (up to 4 per week) Desirable: ADR Certification HIAB certification (ALLMI or equivalent) NPORS Loader Securer or similar (Training may be available for desirable qualifications for the right candidate.) What will your role look like? To transport construction plant, agricultural plant, commercial vehicles, Rail Equipment and associated equipment to locations throughout the UK Ensure Vehicles are maintained, cleaned and presentable at all times, and daily checks are completed and undertaken Load and unload vehicle independently and maintain the safety and security of the load at all times To act as a company ambassador when presenting to customers both verbally and on customer premises Up to 3 – 4 nights out per week What can you expect in return?
