We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for an exciting contract opportunity based in the Heathrow area. This role is working with a highly respected global aviation services provider that specialises in cargo handling, ground support, and logistics solutions for the airline industry.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing work with competitive pay rates and a professional, well-structured operation.
Key Details:
Location: Heathrow (Landside operations)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Ongoing contract
Pay Rates: £19.50 – £22.50 per hour
Role Responsibilities:
Transporting air cargo and freight between airport facilities and distribution points
Ensuring all loads are secured and handled in line with safety and compliance standards
Completing vehicle checks and relevant documentation
Working closely with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries
Adhering to all driving regulations and site procedures
Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous experience in a similar role (airport or cargo experience desirable but not essential)
Good understanding of UK driving laws and regulations
Reliable, professional, and safety-focused approach
