HGV Class 2 Driver – Airside Driver

What You’ll Get  • Competitive pay starting at £15.31 per hour • Excellent overtime rates to significantly boost your earnings:         o  Monday–Friday: £21.55 per hour         o Weekends & Bank Holidays: £28.74 per hour • Guaranteed full-time hours with regular overtime available • Flexible pay options – choose weekly or monthly pay • 4 on / 2 off shift rotation, giving you regular time off and a better work–life balance        o Early as 05:00 AM and late as 00:00 • Free on-site parking in a ULEZ-free location • Short-distance driving • No more driving on civilian roads only airside • Full airside training provided, giving you valuable airport driving experience • Opportunity to build a long-term career in the aviation and cargo industry The Role • Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles airside at Heathrow Airport • Transporting airfreight cargo from the warehouses to the aircraft and airport facilities • Loading and unloading palletised freight using specialist equipment • Following strict aviation safety and security procedures • Short distance driving • Not driving on civilian roads Candidate Requirements • Minimum age 21 (insurance purposes) • Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points • Proven HGV Class 2 driving experience          o Must have 4-6 months of experience • Previous airside experience is beneficial but not essential – full training provided • Ability to pass a DBS background check • Willingness to work early and late shifts on a 4 on / 2 off rota • Must be able to pass a driver medical and colour vision test This role offers the chance to work in a unique airport environment, earn strong overtime pay, and gain specialist airside experience with a respected aviation employer.
