HGV Class 2 Skip Driver
Location: London, SW19
Pay Rate: £19.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 5:15pm
Optional Saturday Overtime: 6:30am – 1:00pm
About the Role
Simple Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join a busy waste management operation based in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver with previous skip vehicle experience looking for ongoing, full-time work with optional Saturday overtime.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver and collect skips from commercial and residential customer sites.
* Transport waste safely and dispose of materials in line with company procedures and environmental regulations.
* Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
* Complete all delivery and collection paperwork accurately.
* Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
* Comply with all road transport legislation, driver hours regulations, and health & safety procedures.
* Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle.
Requirements
* Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
* Valid Driver CPC Qualification.
* Digital Tachograph Card.
* Previous skip driving experience is essential.
* Good knowledge of driver hours and road traffic regulations.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
What We Offer
* £19.00 per hour.
* Monday to Friday working pattern.
* Day shifts: 6:30am – 5:15pm.
* Optional Saturday overtime (6:30am – 1:00pm).
* Weekly pay.
