Apply NowA.W. Jenkinson Transport Ltd is seeking experienced LGV Traffic Controllers to join our Penrith office. You will play a key role in planning and coordinating both bulk and palletised loads, so proven experience in at least one of these areas is essential.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Plan and manage collections and deliveries, ensuring efficient routing, reduced empty running, and cost control. 1
* Oversee and support drivers, handling day‑to‑day transport office issues including drivers’ hours, compliance, and health & safety. 1
* Maintain high‑quality communication with customers and drivers.
* Work closely with colleagues as part of a collaborative, fast‑paced transport operations team.
About You
The ideal candidate will bring:
* Experience planning transport operations.
* A solid understanding of drivers’ hours, tachograph rules, and transport compliance.
* Strong route‑planning ability and excellent navigation skills.
* Clear, confident communication and a proactive, team‑oriented mindset.
