We are currently recruiting for an experienced or aspiring HGV Mechanic to join a well-established transport company in Leighton Buzzard. This is a great opportunity offering long-term stability, overtime, and the chance to secure a permanent role.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
Every other Saturday - paid at time and a third
Overtime paid at time and a third after 40 hours
Pay:
£16.00 – £19.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Enhanced overtime rates
Key Responsibilities:
Servicing, maintenance, and repair of HGVs (primarily Volvo fleet)
Diagnosing faults and carrying out inspections
Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards
Candidate Requirements:
Any level of HGV/mechanical experience considered
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work independently and within a team
