Salary: £28.26 and hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week.

The Role of the HGV Technician
We are looking for a skilled HGV Technician with a strong electrical bias to join a busy bus and coach engineering team.
This is a great opportunity to work on modern passenger vehicles, focusing on diagnostics, electrical systems, and ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable, and compliant with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities of the HGV Technician
Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on buses and coaches
Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults
Work on systems including wiring, CAN bus, ECUs, CCTV, and telematics
Undertake fault finding using diagnostic equipment
Ensure all work is completed to a high safety and quality standard
Accurately complete job cards and documentation
What We’re Looking For from an HGV Technician
Experience as an HGV Technician / PSV Technician / Bus Engineer
Strong electrical and diagnostic skills (this is essential)
Experience working on buses or coaches (desirable but not essential)
Knowledge of CAN systems and modern vehicle electrics
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (desirable)
