HGV Technician - Southampton £50,000 Basic | Monday-Friday | Weekend Overtime Available | Southampton Area Are you an experienced HGV Technician who wants strong basic pay - with the option to boost your earnings even further? £50,000 basic. Monday to Friday. Weekends available as overtime. This is a proper opportunity for a skilled technician who knows their worth. The Role You'll be joining a busy, well-run commercial vehicle workshop in the Southampton area maintaining a modern mixed fleet including DAF Trucks, Volvo Trucks, Scania, and Mercedes-Benz Trucks. The workshop is fully equipped with up-to-date diagnostics and proper tooling. You'll be supported - not micromanaged - and given realistic workloads. What You'll Get £50,000 basic salary Monday to Friday core hours Weekend overtime available (boost your earnings if you choose) Overtime paid at enhanced rates 28 days holiday Pension scheme Stable, long-term employment You control your earnings. Take the overtime if you want it - your weekends aren't mandatory. What You'll Be Doing Routine servicing & preventative maintenance 6-week inspections MOT preparation Diagnostics & fault finding Mechanical & electrical repairs Brakes, clutches, suspension & engine work You'll be trusted to do quality work - no corner cutting. What We're Looking For Strong hands-on HGV experience Confident with diagnostics Able to work independently Reliable and professional attitude Qualifications are welcome but not essential - experience and ability matter more.
