Apply NowWe are proud to working alongside our client, a well-established national organisation with their search for an HGV Technician to be based at the prestigious site in Southampton
What does the role involve?
* Carry out inspection, service, maintenance and repair of range of vehicles within the fleet
* Diagnostic and rectification work on faults on HGV Vehicles
* Carrying out MOT preparation work with the vehicles on site
* Ensure that all work is carried out to set company standards and deadlines
* Liaise with other departments if required such as Parts
* Ensure Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to.
* Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness at all times
Your Experience
* Technical qualification such as City & Guild / Irtec accredited or equivalent
* If the candidate possesses a HGV Driving licence that would be ideal but not necessary
* Relevant HGV Technician / Commercial Vehicle experience
