We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable HGV Mechanic to join our client’s growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician to work within a well-established and supportive environment, maintaining a modern fleet of heavy goods vehicles to the highest standards of safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs and trailers
* Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and rectify mechanical and electrical issues
* Conduct vehicle inspections in line with DVSA standards
* Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and ensure compliance with legal requirements
* Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
* Respond to breakdowns when required (if applicable)
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
