A well-established national plumbing and heating company based in Darlington is currently seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join their team.
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for driving a Class 2 (HGV2) wagon equipped with a tail lift, delivering plumbing and heating supplies to construction sites within approximately a 2-hour radius of Darlington.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out daily deliveries to construction sites
* Complete between 10–20 drops per day, depending on route
* Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods
* Use a pump truck for unloading where required
* Undertake some manual handling (handballing) as part of deliveries
Requirements:
* Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
* Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
* No more than 6 points on licence (no DR/DD offences)
* Good knowledge of driving regulations and road safety
* Ability to manage a physically demanding role
* Strong work ethic and reliability
* Access to the internet to complete online registration and upload required documents
