HGV/LGV Driver / Waste Operative – Macclesfield £13.89 per hour | Full-Time | Temp to Perm We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV/LGV Driver / Waste Operative to join a busy and reliable team in Macclesfield. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity, with an initial 4-month temporary period and the potential to secure a permanent contract. Role Details: * Pay Rate: £13.89 per hour * Monday to Friday * 6:00am – 2:00pm * Temp to Perm (4 months initial period) Key Responsibilities: * Driving HGV/LGV vehicles on scheduled waste collection routes * Assisting with waste collections when required * Ensuring safe operation of the vehicle at all times * Completing daily vehicle checks and relevant paperwork * Adhering to all health & safety and compliance regulations Requirements: * Valid HGV/LGV Licence * Valid CPC qualification * Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) Card * Previous driving experience essential * Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented This is a fantastic opportunity for a dependable driver looking for stable, long-term work with the opportunity to go permanent.
