HLTA - PPA Cover (Full-Time) - Old Trafford Are you an experienced HLTA looking for a dynamic and rewarding role across a primary school setting? We are currently recruiting for a confident and adaptable Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in a primary school in Old Trafford, starting in the coming weeks. This is a full-time position covering PPA across the school, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and taking the lead in the classroom. The Role Delivering pre-planned lessons across all year groups to cover PPA time Managing the classroom independently in the absence of the class teacher Supporting learning and maintaining high standards of behaviour Working flexibly across different key stages (EYFS, KS1 & KS2) Liaising with staff to ensure continuity and consistency for pupils The Ideal Candidate Holds HLTA status or equivalent experience Proven experience leading whole classes Strong and confident behaviour management skills (essential) Flexible, proactive and able to adapt quickly to different classrooms Excellent communication and organisational skills What We Offer Full-time, long-term opportunity Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience) Your own allocated PPA time Supportive school environment with welcoming staff Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HLTA who thrives in a varied role and enjoys making an impact across the whole school.
