Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Primary School in Bexley Start: After February half term Contract: Full-time, minimum 3 months Pay: £100-£140 per day (depending on experience) Career Teachers are working with a welcoming Primary School in Bexley who are seeking a confident and adaptable Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team after February half term. This is a full‑time position for at least three months, with strong potential for extension. The Role As an HLTA, you will: Provide high‑quality classroom cover across the school, from Early Years to Year 6 Deliver engaging learning and maintain continuity in the teacher's absence Support pupils with a range of abilities and needs Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and senior leaders Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will be: Skilled in behaviour management and confident leading whole classes Flexible, proactive, and comfortable working across all primary year groups A strong team player with excellent communication skills HLTA‑qualified or able to demonstrate equivalent experience Why Work Through Career Teachers?
