Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) / Level 3 TA
Location: Primary Schools across South Manchester
Contract Type: Full-time / Flexible Hours (Daily Class Cover)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, adaptable Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a range of primary schools across South. This role involves day-to-day flexibility, delivering class cover across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, and supporting high-quality teaching and learning. You will work across multiple schools, stepping into classrooms daily to ensure continuity and a positive learning experience for pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
• Class Cover: Deliver planned lessons and manage classrooms across multiple schools on a day-to-day basis.
• Teaching & Learning Support: Follow lesson plans, support pupil engagement, and adapt tasks to meet differing needs.
• Teacher Assistance: Support with planning, preparation and assessment where required.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a calm, positive learning atmosphere using effective behaviour strategies.
• SEND & Individual Support: Provide targeted support for pupils with additional or complex needs.
• Collaboration: Work effectively with teachers, senior leaders and support staff.
• Progress Monitoring: Track and record pupil progress and provide feedback to class teachers.

Person Specification:
• HLTA qualification or Level 3 TA (or equivalent experience).
• Strong primary school experience across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Confident delivering planned lessons and managing a class independently.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Flexible, reliable and able to adapt quickly to different school environments.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
