We are currently recruiting for an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive school in South East London for a full-time role starting in September.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong HLTA who is confident leading groups, covering lessons, and supporting students across the school.
The Role:
You will be supporting teaching and learning across the school, working closely with class teachers and senior staff to deliver high-quality support to pupils. The role may include leading interventions, covering lessons, and supporting students with SEN needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver small group interventions and targeted support sessions
Provide classroom cover where required
Support students across a range of abilities and needs
Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
Support pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
Help create a positive and engaging learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate:
HLTA qualification (Required)
Experience working within schools essential
Confident leading groups and managing behaviour
Strong communication and organisational skills
Reliable, proactive, and adaptable approachThe Role Offers:
£120-£150 per day depending on experience
Full-time, long-term role
Supportive and well-resourced school
