Apply NowCoba Education is recruiting for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Milton Keynes area on a fixed-term basis from after the October half-term break through to Christmas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about bringing history to life and inspiring students to develop a deeper understanding of the past and its impact on the modern world.
The Role
* Delivering engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Planning, preparing and assessing high-quality learning experiences.
* Encouraging curiosity, critical thinking and historical enquiry.
* Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback.
* Creating a positive classroom environment that supports learning and achievement.
* Contributing to the wider life of the department and school during the placement.
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Has experience teaching History within a UK secondary school setting.
* Possesses strong classroom management and organisational skills.
* Can inspire learners of all abilities and foster a love of the subject.
* Demonstrates excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Is adaptable, professional and able to make an immediate impact.
