HIU Engineer

HIU Engineer - London - 40k - 50k We are currently recruiting for an experienced HIU Engineer to join a growing engineering team working across high-end residential and mixed-use developments. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong experience in Heat Interface Units (HIUs), looking for a stable position with consistent work and clear progression opportunities. Key Responsibilities * Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance of HIU systems * Fault finding, servicing, commissioning, and repair of HIUs * Diagnosing heating, hot water, and control issues within residential properties * Working on communal plant systems, including pumps, valves, and controls * Liaising professionally with residents, site teams, and management * Ensuring all work complies with health & safety and industry standards Requirements * Proven experience working as a HIU Engineer or Heating Engineer with strong HIU exposure * Experience with major HIU manufacturers (e.g. Danfoss, Altecnic, Heatweb, Evinox, etc.) * Strong fault-finding ability on heating and hot water systems * Relevant qualifications in plumbing/heating (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent) * Good communication skills and a professional approach Salary & Package * Salary dependent on experience: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum * Overtime and call-out opportunities (where applicable) * Long-term, stable role with career progression
